Victor Lee

Favorite pen at the shop: Tombow Fudenosuke Hard Brush Pen

Born and raised in West Newton, Victor has dreamed of owning a business in his neighborhood since kindergarten.  After stepping away from a 20 year career in engineering, he has finally realized his dream by building The Paper Mouse with the love and support of his family and friends.  You can find him at the shop indulging its patrons with fine paper, writing instruments and unique gifts, or at Atelier helping to guide its guests through fun creative experiences.

Jenny Zhang

Shop Manager

Favorite pen at the shop: Sakura Pigma Micron 003

The Paper Mouse was named for Jenny, who was born in the Year of the Mouse. Jenny keeps the shop running from day to day. You can find her there during the week, helping customers and adorning the shop with her delicate paper flowers and origami. She loves making things by hand and writing small with fine-tipped pens. Come meet her and say hello!

Favorite pencil at the shop: Ivory A.G. Spalding & Bros Mechanical Pencil

Felix is the architect and designer of the The Paper Mouse experience.  When he’s not building furniture or giving art and calligraphy lessons at Atelier, he is the watercolor artist and designer behind the international stationery and gift brand, Felix Doolittle.

Loren Sklar

Curator

Favorite pencil at the shop: Hot-pink Mark’s Tous Les Jour Ballpoint Pen

Loren grew up poring over her father’s catalogs and excited to see the UPS guy delivering boxes filled with beautiful product samples from around the world. She finds life repeating itself: Sourcing beautiful things from around the block and around the world, still excited to see the UPS guy at the door, and sharing those finds with the community. Things are evolving again, and she’s passing that sourcing baton to Jenny and Victor while focusing her efforts on the shop's Instagram.
