Hobonichi 2027 Preview Exhibit

Although walk-ins are welcome, we have limited space. Attendees will be required to check-in and get a ticket at the shop on 1274 Washington Street to be admitted to the event space. Please send us an RSVP, if you plan to come.

There will likely be a wait when our shop opens, as well as throughout the day on peak days: Tuesday 8/25, Saturday 8/29, and Sunday 8/30.

No, this event is only a preview. However, we will have Hobonichi's 2027 products for sale online on August 31 at 10pm ET, and in-store starting 11am on September 1.

To get into the exhibit, please go to the register at our shop when you arrive to pick up a numbered event ticket.

The number on the ticket will let you know when you can enter the event. You can refer to the screens in the shop or the online counter linked on the ticket for the current ticket number allowed in. Once the counter has reached or passed your number, you can enter with your ticket.

Each individual 6 and older entering the event needs their own ticket. If attending with a group, please make sure your whole group has arrived before requesting your tickets.

While waiting for your turn to enter, there's no need to stand in line: you can shop in our store or explore West Newton Square.

There will be a wait during peak times, such as opening day on Tuesday 8/25, and weekend days 8/29 and 8/30. There may also be a wait right as the shop opens on other days of the exhibit.

Please go to the register at our shop to pick up a ticket as soon as you arrive. All members of a group should should be there when requesting tickets.

On days when there is a wait, you can spend your time exploring West Newton Square or shopping at The Paper Mouse rather than standing in line.

Our shop and event space will open at 11am. You are welcome to arrive at 10:30am if you wish to get in line. We ask that you please not come early than this; our staff will not be there to give out tickets until 10:30am and we do not want to block the entrances of other shops.

We ask that the entire group please be present to collect their event tickets. We will be giving only one ticket to each attendee per day.

Please check in with staff at our shop to get a new ticket if you wish to re-enter the event. When there is a queue, we will not allow re-entry until the queue has cleared.

Yes, there is. Our bathroom is not wheelchair accessible, however; if you use a mobility device and cannot walk down a flight of stairs, please let our staff know so we can tell you about nearby alternatives.

Although The Paper Mouse does not have its own lot, there are several parking options in West Newton Square. You can find them on our Contact Us page, including metered street parking, free street parking, and metered lots.

If you miss the 8/28 cutoff date to RSVP, you can simply come to the event as a walk-in. Although you will not receive the RSVP exclusive perk, we have plenty of other attractions at the event, including freebies that do not require an RSVP.

Due to the limited space in the event venue and the difficult-to-replace sample materials, we ask that you please do not bring pets to this event.

The Hobonichi Preview Exhibit is a public event that will be photographed for publicity on our website, social media and other promotional materials. Permission to be included in publicity is implied by attending. Please contact us in writing at hello@studiopatron.mom if you do not wish to be included in publicity.

Please also be aware that attendees are permitted to take photos and record in the event space. If you wish to take photos or record in the space, please be respectful of other attendees. Since space is limited, we will not be allowing the use of tripods, ring lights, selfie sticks, or other bulky filming equipment.
